MLS AFRICA · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
MLS Africa is operated by Reliable Integration LLC. This policy explains how we collect and use information when you browse properties, create an account, list a property, advertise, join the affiliate program, or contact us.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, account details, property-listing information, inquiries, preferences, advertiser details, and affiliate payout information. We also collect limited technical and usage information needed to secure and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide the marketplace, verify and moderate listings, respond to inquiries, process listing and advertising payments, administer accounts and affiliate payouts, prevent fraud, send requested transactional messages, and improve MLS Africa.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand website usage. Google receives technical information such as device and browser details and uses analytics cookies. Our page-view reports use general page sections, not URL query strings or listing IDs. We do not send account names, email addresses or form contents as analytics event data. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our integration. You can accept or reject analytics, or change your choice using Cookie settings at the bottom of the website. This Google Analytics integration is not enabled in our native iPhone or Android apps.
Optional website campaign measurement
Separately from Google Analytics, you can allow first-party campaign measurement in Cookie settings. We record sponsored placements rendered, viewable impressions and clicks. A random browser ID is stored locally for up to 90 days; our database stores its hash, campaign IDs and event times to measure consented browser reach and reject duplicate events. We do not use this ID to personalize ads, link it to your account, or fingerprint your device. Advertisers receive aggregate campaign reports, not browser IDs. IP addresses and request metadata may be processed by our infrastructure for security and rate limiting, but are not used as audience identifiers.
Campaign measurement is off until separately accepted and is not enabled in native apps. You can withdraw it through Cookie settings. Withdrawal removes the local browser ID and requests deletion of its browser-level records; anonymous totals remain. Browser-level records are deleted after 90 days by a daily cleanup job (up to one additional day for processing); anonymous campaign totals are retained for historical reporting. If a deletion request fails or you have already cleared your browser storage, contact us for help.
Marketing choices
Marketing email is optional. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional messages about your account, listings, payments, inquiries, or security may still be sent when necessary.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate MLS Africa: with listing representatives for an inquiry, payment processors for a payment, service providers that help operate the platform, and authorities where legally required. Published listing information is visible to the public as selected and approved through the listing workflow.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and contact
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Contact us at aa@reliablei.com. We may update this policy; the latest version will always appear at this URL.
This is a business-ready operational privacy notice and should receive legal review before a full public launch, especially for country-specific privacy requirements.
Optional property alerts
If you enable email property alerts, we store your search preferences, verified email address, consent and delivery records to send matching new listings through our email provider, Resend. This is separate from analytics and general marketing preferences. You can pause or delete your search in My Plan or unsubscribe in any property alert email.
WhatsApp is an optional, separately consented channel using Twilio and Meta. Once available, connecting your number stores your phone number, verification and consent records, matched listing references, and delivery status. You can reply STOP or disconnect WhatsApp in My Plan without stopping email alerts. We do not automatically choose a channel based on your location. WhatsApp sending remains disabled while setup and testing are completed. SMS alerts are not enabled.
Email message bodies and WhatsApp delivery-record phone numbers are removed after 90 days when their respective enabled alert workers run. Preferences and duplicate-prevention records remain until you delete the preferences or your account. Disconnecting WhatsApp deletes its preference and delivery history. We retain limited blocked-email and blocked-phone records to prevent unwanted delivery, and message identifiers to prevent webhook replay; contact support for help correcting an opt-out record. We do not store raw WhatsApp message bodies in our alert database.
